  Self-discipline, independence, courage, and passion.
• Com que frequência você viaja? Você prefere viajar ou você é mais um casero?
  Due to my parents’ diplomatic careers, I’ve been lucky enough to live in seven countries across every continent and have traveled to over 150 countries. To say the least, I’m not a homebody.
• O que você mais gosta em si mesmo?
  My adaptability: from a jet-setting childhood having dinner at the White House or attending Obama’s inauguration in 2009 to slumming it as a backpacker in South America, Central Asia, and Africa. I can undoubtedly adapt to any situation.

  Between being detained in North Korea and traveling with a hijab in Yemen, I’ve had an extremely captivating life and indeed, overcame many life-threatening challenges. I like to say I’m an old soul trapped in a young body.

  I want to see the world. Follow a map to its edges, and keep going. Forgo the plans. Trust my instincts. Let curiosity be my guide. I want to change hemispheres. Sleep with unfamiliar stars. And let the journey unfold before me.
